Parallel Education is a division of Parallel Employment Group Inc., with over 20 years of experience working in conjunction with educational institutions. Michael Skemp founded Parallel Employment Group, Inc. in 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 30 years later, we have grown into three divisions. Parallel currently operates 17 offices in seven states and employs approximately 9,000 employees each year.
Parallel Education Division provides Substitute Teacher services to districts, private schools, charter schools and special programs in six states – Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin. Our goal is to continue our expansion in communities across the country.
Through the years we have developed a state-of-the-art dispatching service, nationwide recruitment strategies for obtaining Teachers, as well as bi-lingual and special education focuses. Parallel offers centralized dispatching and recruiting services and well as local offices. Our local offices around the nation are dedicated to supporting on-site dispatching, customer service, training and interviewing. They also provide the necessary structure for screening, interviewing and servicing our clients. Parallel believes face-to-face interviews are critical in helping identify an interviewee’s level of preparation, qualifications, communication and professionalism. Our standardized processes ultimately ensure our Substitute Teachers make the commitment of excellence to Parallel and our partner schools. Our dedicated team at Parallel Education Division is continuously utilizing our expertise and knowledge to develop and implement systems/technology, recruit, screen and organize Substitute services to ensure pleasantly seamless transitions to all our Clients.
